the #Arts still FLOW but 1 never steps into the same stream twice as #PreSocratic #Heraclitus of c. 535–c. 475 BCE from Ephesus in Ionia (modern‑day western Turkey) often called “the Obscure” for dense paradoxical style of surviving fragments. subject to melancholia known as "weeping philosopher"

my last #Concert NOT long ago😵 'Headliner' about 3 people deep from font SUPER crowd NO mosh pit almost SILENCE between songs? these masters of their genre/style came out smashed heavy GROOVE rock very 'riff' but also instrumental/solos felt at home with #Strangers #LiveMusic

this was for #atheists who have as much right to exist as ANY other description of unexplained unknown unto science+afterlife beliefs as a #pluralist drawn of MANY that coexist among versatile beliefs/cultures thru Reciprocated respect, honor diversity is strength against disgusting supremacy

modern band amazing #live i KNOW INSANE drums memorable riffs, leads that will evocate your revocation to this futile existence just relapse into vinyl wax 🤓

'How long will it take To make the world a flaming star How long will it take 'Til they stop their senseless wars How long will it take 'Til everybody will understand That we need That we need to fill our hearts with love again'

saw a #LiveBand recently that was SO good that between songs it was almost SILENT almost ALWAYS there's that ringing of chatter in a club that was GONE NO mosh pit heavy band people were reverent even singer named K- approached mike at 1 point 'shhhh' noticing how HUNGRY fed us a wall of sound

000

standing in a #concert 3 humans deep up to stage finally NOT #alone ONLY family EVER KNOWN what a STRANGE #crowd 👁️ #Belong a HUG or a bath 1st in a hall of misfits 👁️ identify what is my #Culture? i'll tell u directly #Music transcends ALL cultures a language #universal where i am understood

recently saw a #band NEW to me called #Messa 'Italian doom' very unusual conglomeration of styles telecaster doing heavy! rock, hard rock, doom, blues, improv excellent vocalist Sara it feels SO GOOD to watch a band that is blown away by our applause! You can tell!

000

it's so absurd! war mongers of extremist beliefs thinking they'll bring peace by killing everyone that disagrees then imagining that making a temple on some land will bring them ANY divinity? if they laid down their weapons made a temple for ALL equal sharing virtues EVERY divinity would belong

#BannedBooks liked banned #media from DC war zones as USA weapons/tech utilized what's being #BANNED? #TRUTH 1 can disagree w/a book write a different view civil debate state your opinion backed by data, religion, feeling, belief but today's politician or billionaire? ivory tower #sophistry

Poppy - is what i listen for- her voice, not her image or youtube BS. i saw her dance & move but it wasn't at all about her being sexy - actually i found it odd with her tent she'd retreat to - then the hand puppets as if uncle fester watching.

000

I was afraid for the headliner - then came Poppy - her band is KILLER - i had a balcony ticket - but i HAD to get down there to see if there were any 'back tracks' because this band was SO good! I got to the floor and really watched the band -

100

i liked 'I disagree' best and was thankful that Poppy & band returned to this HEAVY style! I SUPER enjoyed seeing her LIVE. This smashing band opened called 'Boundaries' PURE unadulterated HEAVY in many forms - crazy GREAT band.

'The Orange Plague' 'King of Injustice' if u don't like him then u have a syndrome? king dumb of lawless kingdumb but it's hardly HIM 1 man is nothing a mouthpiece for corrupt wealth that use religion & patriotism as chains, swords & entitlement of self adulation & obliviousness to human need.

000

i like this idea so many tunes have possibilities different mixes makes sense very nice

001

it's hard to be without an #ElvisCostello as 1977-2010

not to be too obscura i disagree modern metal is STILL crazy!! this heavy has/had a fretless bass player on this diluvious album Linus Klausenitzer things have

initially i got some 'big star' vibes it is labeled a 'prog' album of 1969 there is some 'odd time' in 'doing what my mamma said' they change keys now i'm on to #PatTravers 1981 'Radio Active' which was probably not outrageous enough but today it is a decent rock/fusion album!

'Cartoone' 1969 #VinylRecord decent album for this period of music 'A Penny For The Sun' as many memorable, harmonic - kinda cat stevens #JimmyPage is a 'guest artist' this has an orchestral aspect to it i kinda dislike but what to expect from a Scottish Pop Rock Prog band formed in 1967?

110

i'm in need of a #chunky #organ #ChunkyOrgan #Instrumental please no Jack McDuff - Jimmy Smith? #VinylRecords i'll take a side of #BookerTMGs with a full platter of #IronButterfly perhaps a few #steppenwolf shots #DrunkOnMusic & others🚬👄

David Davidson is NO joke. guitar layers!

tonight a NEW #VinyRecord to abandon the old a revocation chaos of forms much more accessible for thrash band i've seen #live a few times when i see a band live i like to have a vinyl record or at least CD found this one recently on sale - a relapse

went back listened to #Soundgarden #Superunknown didn't realize how rare it is to have this heavy song sound beyond some guitar solo many jobs radio played a few of their songs to DEATH didn't realize my serendipity to have such a great voice along w/some heavy grooves miss u #ChrisCornell

even if someone is outside of my musical tastes in a style genre that doesn't interest me still i can appreciate if there is talent there MANY singers do not interest me musicians that play instruments the voice to me is not the same as being fluent on an external musical instrument

ⓀiƞⒼk @kgink.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

just like #k.d.lang i was NOT prepared to like #Adele CD 21 don't get me wrong anyone one of music so closely associated with #ElvisCostello can't be underestimated! it's my 1st listen to an Adele album thanks to a good will she has such a range in voice and style and a great bluesy sound -
