I hate being told to smile more. I had a security guard at my old office building in San Francisco follow me to the elevator early one morning. He stopped the doors from closing and told me I need to smile more and say hello. No one else was around and he scared me, but finally let the doors close.

I would have thought so too. It’s much, much worse in Utah. It was shocking to see how bad it was when I moved back. It probably was just as bad when I was growing up in Utah as a kid, but I didn’t notice it then.

It’s so true. I live in Utah and have never seen so many ads for plastic surgery, nor so many places that specialize in doing it. Moving back to Utah after 20 years in California was eye opening.
