this also begs a question I've always had about pitch sequencing and combinations. we measure all pitches in isolation but i think it would be fascinating to quantify how a pitch performs following another pitch type e.g. FC after FF versus FC after SI and how tunneling may affect this, if at all

I do not expect a front running team, despite believing in the quality of the roster. I wouldn't be surprised if this season follows a similar rhythm to years past where they struggle early and turn it on late.

September will be a sprint to the finish and you can hope they are running on all cylinders ready to beat up on some bad teams after the opponents they saw in August. If you're trying to chase down or hold off BAL for the division on the last weekend of the year, best to do that at home.

Thankfully the early season 4 game series are favorable hosting TOR and BAL instead of facing the stiffest ALE competition on the road and outside of the division LAA and CWS are good opportunities for some extended win streaks.
