I am fostering this little guy. We rescued him shortly before the cold weather rolled in. He was very scared and malnourished. I suspect that he was abandoned. We could walk right up to him with food, but he was afraid of touching. He's doing much better now. Needs a more permanent home.

To your point about the '50s mfg boom. I like that you attribute this to the world's mfg capabilities being, 'blown off the map'. This puts in perspective the make in America idealism now. It's not something we can just do. It's more like rebuilding the Japanese or German mfg capababilities.
