I am being teased and taunted here but I don’t care I’m excited and interested for whatever this turns out to be about.

There’s a line in X-men 97 where Bishop says we need to go back to the X-men in the 1990s and I feel like that’s exactly what marvel has been trying to do for 30 years (and what dc was trying to do with new 52) which also reminded me of this

To me, at least the way Gary frank drew it, her costume came off more elegant and ballet-like than cheerleader and that’s how I always draw it

The final issues were drawn by ed benes and reintroduced the original supergirl who was then sent back to die in the Crisis only to be reintroduced again a few months later. The final issue had a cover by John Romita sr.

Leonard Kirk, who drew the bulk of the book (over 50 issues with few fill ins) did an admirable job. After issue 50 Linda supergirl separated from her angel half, lost most of her powers and started wearing the suit the animated supergirl wore and is so very 1998

30 years ago today DC Comics released the first issue of 4th volume of supergirl, written by Peter David and illustrated initially by Gary Frank and then Leonard Kirk for the majority of the run.

My only complaint about Supergirl is that MY favorite version of the character doesn't get to exist anymore.. and considering that other characters from that era Connor Hawke, Cassandra Cain, Impulse... all got to come back..

While I do think a general strike or blackout day is good idea in theory, realistically when your family owns a small business that could be financially devastating

Was contacted to see if I had any copies of our 2015 summer camp publication, a parent was looking for it, as their kid who was in it (now early 20s) had passed away. I wasn’t in charge then, but I was around and I knew this kid and their siblings and whole family. Man

As a Kevin who grew up in the suburb directly south of the home alone house who lost his mother, this news hit me alarmingly hard.

I’m going to be honest, I don’t understand discord. I don’t get how it works. It confuses and overwhelms me.

is it confusing that there’s a supergirl who uses the secret identity Linda Danvers who isn’t related to Superman who was active during the period of time when the supergirl who uses the secret identity of Linda Danvers who is related to Superman was considered dead? Yes. Very.

It’s insane to me that girls scout cookies are made by two different regional bakeries, where the quality of one is exponentially better than the other. Like texture, flavor, and consistency completely different. All that but they discontinued the French toast cookies.

This was just outside my list. It would be a couple years before I really got into Legion, but this cover and andromeda holds a special place for me. I didn’t realize until much later that she was just a supergirl fill in. At this point in time I was scared to buy “girl” comics aside from catwoman

000

Kevin Peterson @kevinpeterson.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

At this point I was only buying Robin and Azrael monthly. This was my first time seeing Mike Wieringo art, who to this day remains my favorite artist ever. Tom Grummett, the previous Robin artist was already a fave And then I saw @ramosland.bsky.social ?! And Barry Kitson ?! Sold year for me
