Puddles Pity Party opened for Al, and he is ALWAYS amazing - what a voice! And hilarious. Kade went with me, dinner was at Waffle House, where we met the Waffle Wizard and friends. Saw a great number of friends there tonight, too. Stay weird, y'all!

I woke up in the 5:00 hour this morning, and by 6:00 a.m. I was at the park walking. Got all the way around to the Metal Museum and then banked off to my right to go see progress on cutting down one of the biggest trees I'd ever seen.

I remade the sticker from Hooper's Store for this playset (original in last 2 images). Other than a few scratches, this set is now complete and pretty fantastic! I have the box for it, too.

Excited to get back to @gusfriedchicken in Downtown Memphis this weekend. The diet requires I miss out on a lot of good food, so this was a treat! Great food, great service.

Sad to see this queen tree go. She had such an amazing presence in the Formal Gardens, great personality. I swung by this morning to say thanks for the shade and say goodbye. Overton Park will have a different landscape, but they have to be safe so we can continue to enjoy the park.

I got out there really early today. Overton Park was already busy! Walkers, runners, and hobble-along-ers were in full swing. The birds were singing, owls hooting, and fantastic weather!
