The last few auditions ive done over recent weeks. Is probably some of my best. a lot in the sense of pushing past my comfort zones and trying out for things I normally wouldnt. Even If all of them end up as rejected. Im happy I managed to do them, and got to learn from them

Technically a role announcement I suppose. Even tho its my own vtubers lore. But still thought it was worth sharing. There is some imperfections and its less professional on purpose. it was all recorded in 1 take to give across the idea of it being somebody rambling into a recorder for archiving

Back in 2023 I started a little Web Series I eventually named "How We Live". It was a 3 year long journey but I eventually finished it. It features live action, animation, multiple VA's, and my own weirdness. You can view the full ordered playlist here: www.youtube.com/playlist?lis... #promosky

Sent in my first audition for something since getting character acting coaching. And I definitly felt that it showed, even if just slightly. That I had some better understanding of what to do. I atleast was very happy with what I recorded

Reposting this to help share. This was the first project I ever got to provide my voice to. And have BZ to thank for now finally having a credit of my own to be able to point at

Had a nice consultation about VO today and booked a coaching session in the near future. Both incredibly nervous, and incredibly excited. Im taking big steps for myself Truly stepping out of my comfort zone #voiceover #voiceactor

Does anyone else listen to music while recording auditions? I tend to try and find some music that fits the character and play it a low volume so I can still hear myself talk no issue. Its partly to immerse myself with the character, and partly to help with anxious thoughts. Anyone else do this?

Hey Voice actors. Fun question. No matter how impossible is. If you could be in any franchise or piece of media. What would it be? What is like your biggest wish?

Constant issues with my recording area is going to be the end of me. Goddamn I dont know if its my mic or the area to be honest. Some days I can record stuff and its alright, hardly any noise. Other days its god awful At this point this is a message aaaaaaaah

My voice acting goals for this year. Lowered them from last year. To make them more doable

Voice acting goals (2025)
Book 1 role
soundproof recording area further
audition 10+ times
audition for atleast 1 MC role

Why the fuck is the creator of Casting Call Club using generative AI for his project. I was slowly getting back to a point of my life where I could start auditioning again. But christ. Finding another website I apparently cant trust. Put the wind out of my sails STOP USING FUCKING GENERATIVE AI

Another small update on irl Life is still kinda rough. A bit better but still rough. Computer is currently in no working condition. So any VA audition work is on hold till its repaired.

Kevin Iversen | Voice Actor @keviniversenva.bsky.social · 03/01/2025

Out of the 4 goals I set myself for 2024. I managed to hit 2. That's genuinely better than I expected considering the hell of a year it was for me. To a better 2025

Kevin Iversen | Voice Actor @keviniversenva.bsky.social · 08/12/2024

Just an heads up for people on my inactivity. IRL has been pretty rough. I'm trying to get some auditions in here and there. But prioritizing mental health first and foremost

If your auditioning for something. Please dont lie to your director about your interest in the project. Saying you love and are excited about the projects future. Just to drop any interest in it, when you possibly don't get the role. Its a bad look, don't do it #VoiceActors

This goes probably goes without saying. But just so its spoken out loud. I do NOT consent to my voice being used for AI. AI can fuck right off As voice actors our voice is our instrument. And not one to be stolen and distorted

Had my first real Voice acting class today. With a high profile danish VA. It was a good beat down. Like, i realised how much I still have to learn as a VA Sadly VA classes are rare in denmark. But who knows. I definitly felt I learned to temper my own expecations of myself. A real reality check

Its nothing as major as yalls roles. But it being my first role ive ever gotten. I cherish it deeply. Is it just me and someone else speaking over a GMOD image for a web series? Yes. But that dosent matter. I really loved being able to finally put my name on something i did #VoiceActorsOnBluesky
