My mom’s, who’s 80 years old, a republican and just watches Faux news voted for Trump. I hate to be mean, but I hope folks like her feel it, because she and my father benefited from the FDR programs and then they changed to “screw everyone else.” Their greed screwed my kids. I hope she feels it.

Let’s see how the midterms go. But at my age, a Caribbean island or Greece, Spain or Portugal is looking like the best option. I spent my youth serving this country (military and law enforcement) and it pissed on the democracy and constitution I thought I was serving.

Yes, the entire constitution, not just the parts they like. If I’m forced to accept the electoral college and the modern interpretation of the 2nd amendment, then they can accept all the other parts that get on their nerves.
