20 years ago, Yoko Kanno's soundtrack to Cowboy Bebop permanently changed my brain chemistry. Last week, seeing her perform it at #animeboston had the same effect. I also interviewed her as one of the few people at apparently her first press panel ever.

#frieren returns after a week off with an arc to cover the latter half of this short season. It's a slow burn of build-up as we inch closer to finding the enemy's identity, but it offers quiet, valuable character development before the intensity ramps up.
