I will not ask you where you came from I will not ask and neither should you Honey, just put your sweet lips on my lips We should just kiss like real people do Like Real People Do - Hozier It's the final weekend of Velvet Bohème and I still have so much I want to share from the extradinarily amazing creations of the designers in this round!

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)i am never without it(anywhere i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling) I Carry Your Heart With Me - E E Cummings (Poet) I read the poem above at last night's LIT at Velvet Bohème. I had read it earlier in the day and sent some lines of it to Cru while he was asleep, because, it really touched me.

There's something that I can't quite explain I'm so in love with you You'll never take that away And if I've said it a hundred times before Expect a thousand more You'll never take that away Calling You - Blue October Cover by Avelyn Walker I'm sure I have used this song for a post before but this felt super appropriate today.

I hate you, I love you - Gnash feat Olivia O'Brien I rarely do close up or portraits but there were a couple of items form Velvet Bohème that I really wanted to showcase, starting with new eyes from IKON at this round. So it had to be a close up to show the eyes off nicely...because they are gorgeous! I also wanted to get this headpiece from Tentacio on my head because anyone that knows me knows that I love a floral headpiece and this one with the little birds included is just stunning!

And so he kick, push, kick, pushKick, push, kick, push, coastAnd away he rolledJus' a rebel to the world with no place to go Kick, Push - Lupe Fiasco I took this photo several days ago and have been trying to find a spare few minutes to post! My week has been busy getting the sim built and ready for designers to come and start getting set up for the Autumn/Fall round of Velvet Bohème.

Sheila goes out with her mate Stella, It gets poured all over her fella, 'Cause she's says, man he ain't no better, Than the next man kicking up fuss Drunk she stumbles down by a river Screams calling London None of us heard her coming I guess the carpet weren't rolled out Sheila - Jamie T As a Londoner myself I have always loved the sound of Jamie T, and particularly this song.

Well open up your mind and see like me (I won't hesitate) Open up your plans and damn you're free (No more, no more) Look into your heart and you'll find (It cannot wait) The sky is yours (I'm sure) So please don't, please don't, please don't (No need to complicate) There's no need to complicate (Our time is short)

Have you got colour in your cheeks? Do you ever get that fear that you can't shift The type that sticks around like summat in your teeth? Are there some aces up your sleeve? Have you no idea that you're in deep? I dreamt about you nearly every night this week How many secrets can you keep? 'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow and I play it on repeat…

I wanna hold the hand inside you I wanna take the breath that's true I look to you and I see nothing I look to you to see the truth You live your life, you go in shadows You'll come apart and you'll go blind Some kind of night into your darkness Colors your eyes with what's not there Fade Into You - Mazzy Star…

I'm flying away Running like the wind As I chase the sun Up spinning around Circles in my mind Sailing over ground Chase The Sun - Planet Funk Not sure why I chose this song other than I am currently in my 00's music mode and listening to a ton of dance music from that era. It's certainly not because I am chasing the sun...I've had enough sun frankly.

Kiss so hotLips to a Twizzler in the summer sunOutside in the Cinerama Dome, you sworeI'd be the only one you'd ever let in your heart I love the way you made me feelI love the way you made me feelAnd I don't care why, no, I don't care whyI love the way you made me feel…

Unicorns and cannonballs Palaces and piers Trumpets, towers, and tenements Wide oceans full of tears Flags, rags, ferry boats Scimitars and scarves Every precious dream and vision Underneath the stars Yes, you climbed on the ladder With the wind in your sails You came like a comet Blazing your trail Too high Too far Too soon You saw the whole of the moon…

If you're fond of sand dunes and salty air Quaint little villages here and there At The River - Groove Armada I've thrown myself into creating my own personal sanctuary this week with a complete revamp of my home and I absolute love what I've done with the place. I'm sure I will get round to sharing some pics soon. I still have the interior of the house to complete but I have never been one for being indoors in SL, so, I have focused on a variety of outdoor spaces to spent time alone and with friends.

Where on earth are you from? We're from EnglandWhere you come fromDo you put the kettle on?Kick it Vindaloo - Fat Les I took this photo prior to the thrilling first group match for England. What a delight it was to watch, You may be thinking "well of course you enjoyed it Kess, your team won" but no, that is not the reason, There have been plenty of England matches where my team won but it was far from a delight to watch.

Del is still recovering from my last wedding  several years ago, and I've already been winding her up about a potential next wedding.

I am thinking it's a sign That the freckles in our eyes Are mirror images and when We kiss they're perfectly aligned And I have to speculate That God himself did make Us into corresponding shapes Like puzzle pieces from the clay Such Great Heights - Iron and Wine Cover I process through writing. If something or someone has upset me, hurt me, irritated me or frustrated me, I find writing down how I feel about it helps me process the feelings.

The truth is I am a toy that people enjoy'Til all of the tricks don't work anymoreAnd then they are bored of meI know that it's exciting running through the night, butEvery perfect summer's eating me alive until you're goneBetter on my own They say, "You're a little much for meYou're a liabilityYou're a little much for me"

On the whole, good stress though. The keeping busy and active kind of stress which I find healthy for me usually.

I'm not hugely into all the Astrological stuff but a whole bunch of Pisces quotes start to appear in my feeds around this time of year. It is Pisces season after all. I loved being a Pisces and the imagery of the two fishes. My grandmother's birthday was 2 days after mine and when I was a kid I always thought the fishes were me and her...I still do, even if she is a fish with heavenly wings now.

The end of 2025 and the start of 2026 is about changing my horizons and certainly the last few months have been introspective. I've learned a lot about myself. I've become so much more comfortable with my own company and my own peace. I know where my challenges are and have some focus on new skills I want to acquire and where I want to develop aspects of my skill sets.

In my darkness I find an old compass It's telling me where I'm gonna go, wanna go? Gonna go, wanna go? In My Darkness - Steve Forrest Credits Body - Ebody Reborn Hair - WINGS-EF0708 *Top - Mellow Elie / Marfa Fringe Jacket **NEW** at FaMESHed

Back from vacation last week and it was a busy one. So busy in fact that my holiday feels like it was 2 months ago instead of 2 weeks ago. That's partly because the SL shifted into the whole Fall/Halloween season while I was gone! And, I am here for it! I had seen some wips of this sweater for the absolutely glorious human being known as Emma Gilmour, the creator behind Mellow Elie.

Just a quick shot before I leave for a week sailing down (up?) the Danube! This time tomorrow I will be in Budapest at the start of the journey. Will tell you all about it when I get back. Hurry to the last day of Velvet Bohème though! Closes out later today with 3 DJ sets from ALTITUDE! Credits *Head - …

I'm an avid listener of audiobooks. I have one on all day while I work and I'm currently listening to the complete Sherlock Holmes collection read, with gusto and aplomb, by the wonderful Sir Stephen Fry. I had just finished A Scandal in Bohemia when I was decorating this scene. I am seriously running out of time to show everything I want to from Velvet Bohème as not only does the event close on Sunday but I am also dashing off on holiday on Sunday too!

I can't believe there is just a few days left of Velvet Bohème. I have so much I still want to show and share and talk about. The whole dream of this event coming to fruition has blessed me in so many ways.  I've made new friends, been inspired by bloggers and artists, been humbled by designers and revelled in sounds that were new to my ears and touched my heart.

Called to the Devil and the Devil did comeI said to the Devil, "Devil, do you like drums?Do you like cigarettes, dominoes, rum?"He said, "Only sundown, Sundays, Christmas"Some days end when I need a few friends It's Called: Freefall by Rainbow Kitten Surprise Credits *Head - LeLutka - EVO X Avalon Body - Ebody Reborn *Face Skin - …

Kaithleen’s Eternal Romance dress is the perfect teaser for Velvet Bohème. Shimmering with starlight and candle glow, it captures the elegance of the festival’s spirit. Styled with vintage accents and timeless details, this look sets the tone for an event that promises to be pure magic.

Drink. Shop. Dance. Regret your fatpack decisions later.

I want to write so much here but time is timing and I got a lot to do today. It's the start of designer set up for Velvet Bohème which is a new boho themed festival of art, music and wonderful creations from some of Second Life's top creators. The line up is incredible and I am featuring two releases on my pixels today!
