I do enjoy the Cinemassacre Night of the Living Dead commentary. He has the same love of this movie as me and since it's public domain it's makes this commentary watch along possible. Definitely check this out if you've watched this before and want some extra added insight.

Diary of the Dead is probably the weakest of the Romero Dead movies. It's been probably 15+ years since I've watched Survival so I need a refresher to be certain. But Diary is another shaky cam first person "found footage" type movie and I've never been super into that, especially in a horror movie

The thing about the Romero Dead movies is that they hold up. I think Dawn and Day hold up better than Snyder's remake of Dawn, which I have to confess I think is solid. It just doesn't have the depth Romero movies had.

I was 10 years old when this came out. When Harry threw the snowball as hard as he could at Mary it was the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. The second hardest was this scene where instead of helping him they point and laugh as he lays there dying.

Walking Dead Season 5: for whatever reason I thought when Tara showed up in season 4 I thought she would be shit but turns out she rules. That's the thing about rewatching something you haven't seen since it came out 11ish years ago you get a whole new perspective.

Season 5 of the Walking Dead so far is vastly superior to pretty much everything in season 4. Terminus was destroyed and now the Hunters just got Bob after he was bit and he's laughing at them screaming tainted meat after they ate his leg. Good stuff

Evil Dead Bum was okay. I'm a little "character in horror movie is slow and uncoordinated" out after watching Backrooms but Burn, wait it's Burn not Bum? Burn has a similar vibe to the original where it mostly takes place in a house and it's NOT a horror comedy just horror.

I dunno why but Carl eating pudding is one of my favorite moments in The Walking Dead. I just always felt so bad for the kid. His mom died and he kept her from changing, the prison is gone, he thinks his sister is dead. I HATED they killed him off. Let the kid have an industrial sized can of pudding

This stems from me commenting on a few of his posts about a year ago how trans people are not protected from harassment on here and how if the rules don't apply evenly then he's creating a class system. So he blocked me.

Season 3 of Walking Dead is behind us. We never quite got that emotional climax the way we got with Rick and Shane at the end of season 2 but season 3 did a lot of world building and saying goodbye to characters we started with. It feels like the end of the beginning of the show.
