not selling it tho, first of all because Judy is my fave from the protagonist and second, because i hate for how much these worthless piece of cardboard sells for. They are cool looking, but they are not 400 bucks worth, and i will enjoy it way more having it and enjoying it playing with it!

Never did one of these for music, so there it is. Mostly 70s and 80s metal and hard rock. I don't listen that much to Los Redondos or La Renga anymore, but they were tremendously formative for most working class rock fans here and I was not the exception. Still love Pappo's Blues though.

9 important albums in my life, from top to bottom, left to right:

Un baión para el ojo idiota - Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota
Somewhere in Time - Iron Maiden
Machine Head - Deep Purple
Rising - Rainbow
Volumen 3 - Pappo's Blues
Painkiller - Judas Priest
Rust in Piece - Megadeth
Despedazado por mil partes - La Renga
Dehumanizer - Black Sabbath

So you guys know i'm not into JRPG nor any hardcore japanese franchises, but i recently picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were i left it a couple of months ago and i'm enjoying it a lot. I think a big thing on why is enjoy it is how good the voice acting is, even tho the artstyle is not my thing 😅

I'm looking into getting this one soon too! glad to know modern Capcom doesn't miss with bringing back old IPs 😄

Dawnwalker done! Not good at reviews but i can say that this game is a gem and we are in front of the birth of a new titan in the industry. This IP have pretty much infinite possibilities for all kinds of sequels and spin offs, the most remarkable thing i can point is how good the lore constructed.

1112

Yup! i actually rewritted that a couple of times because every time i writted "adapt survival horror" i had flashes of The Thing coming to my mind, but i mean it more in a way of the protagonist being alone, discovering new stuff and scarce resources, like adapting the mechanics more than the concept

oh i also don't like how the movie ends, but that's not a big thing because it's more of a personal taste other than being inherently badly done. If you like Resident Evil you should totally see it and ngl i wish this was a game because it works just like them.

050

As you can see pretty much the only thing i didn't like about this new RE movie is the fact that it takes place on Raccoon City and everything that entails. because other than that, i genuinely think this is the best shot of a RE movie we will ever have and that's already a lot.

140

Is clear that the director loves RE, but it's even more clear he loves the 'RE Engine' Resident Evil, which makes me even more confused on why the movie even take place on Raccoon city to start with. I think he could have work way more comfortable just creating something new.

which consists on twisting the game lore to fit the bits you like about it, instead of adapting to the universe. I compared it to Anderson putting the Executioner Majini on Afterlife because it was the new thing in the games and he liked it. That's what this movie conveys to me.

yet it attempts to create a parallel universe using locations like Raccoon City, without actually utilizing the city in a way that makes it feel necessary for the story to take place in there. It end up making the same mistakes W. S. Anderson movies did in the franchise -

I think discarding all the game lore and creating an alternate version of the RE universe was a TERRIBLE idea, cuz as a whole, this movie perfectly works as a new game entry in the saga. It works exactly as how RE has expanded since RE7, new virus, new characters, new story. -

Big thread here So why i give it a 7/10? well, the movie works for someone who is a Resident Evil fan like me, but i can't see how people that don't know this franchise will even understand what this movie is even about cuz it lacks purpose other than a lot of action and comedy -

Finished! I can confidently say that this is an excellent action horror movie, and more importantly, a pretty solid Resident Evil product. It perfectly captures the vibes of the survival horror genre and funny enough, it manages to transmit the Resident Evil vibes 7/10

010

I love the carpathians setting so much, the mountains in the background, the big forests, they really nailed the art direction. Also the game is extremely challenging on Duelist difficulty and that's making me enjoying it even more. Just spent 2 hours killing a boss for his outfit lol
