China has an under-discussed strategy to coerce Taiwan. Instead of blockading Taiwan by sea, China can instead strike port infrastructure. Taiwan would be cut off from trade, but at a lower risk to China. Check out my article with Eugene Gholz to know more and see how Taiwan can respond. #polisci
