Kerakis @kerakis.bsky.social · 11/05/2025My most commonly seen Wren - the Carolina Wren (Thryothorus ludovicianus). This species is actually the first bird that got me interested in learning more about birds. One of these little stinkers built a nest in my boot, so I got to watch them hatch and fledge. After that, I was all in on birding.🪶 030

They're rare around here compared to their larger relative, the Great Blue Heron, that we have tons of. Unlike the GBH, the LBH is only here during migration, so getting to see them is awesome! 🪶 2211
