Majora's Mask has the best atmosphere out of any Zelda game, but is also a game I cannot even begin to play because it's the most anxiety inducing shit I ever tried playing. every developer considering allowing AI use into a project needs to read this article. everyone talking about how "great" the output from an AI is needs to understand: the output didn't get more valuable, you are only admitting how little you value your own work

In software we have this strange position taking hold, that our work is as valueless as the output of an LLM. Not that LLM output is just as valuable, no, that we are of as little value as it. This sometimes gets communicated as "They're just as good as you!" which is a slight against the programmers being talked about, more than anything.

why nobody buys already made AI models is because they can generate those themselves on the fly. as much as I hate AI, I don't think people hating AI made content is the sole reason this marketplace is failing.
