The 12th Amendment is clear that one cannot run for/be VP if they’re ineligible to be POTUS. Our 22nd Amendment is also clear that one is allowed to run for POTUS and win only twice, consecutively or not. Constitutionally, Trump cannot run for a 3rd term. But yes, obviously he will try regardless.

Partially true, but the issue is that we sadly can’t save some people from themselves. If a certain percentage of our electorate is determined to be willfully ignorant when we have freedom of the press (for now) and take 18+ months to run a presidential election, this problem may not be solvable.
