I wanted to sew a patch on my pencil case, but since I couldn't put a needle through the case, had to sew from the FRONT with on upholstery needle. This was a new skill for me to learn, so I think i'm one of the cool kids now. #art #sewing #frog #printmaking #craft #handmade #linocut #kentucky

So nice to meet you! I only sell pots in person (im in Kentucky-near Cincinnati, ohio) but also paintings and prints online. your non-profit's website---super cool! I have been studying at the Arrowmont school in the smoky mountains, and black bears live on the campus-such magnificent animals!

i love the idea of craftivism-not just fun, but a way for workers to seize the means of production and reject consumerism. wish i could remember who originally said it, but the idea of 'do you want to make art about the problem, or the solution' echoes in my mind. of course, you can do both!

Thank you! I just took a test pot out of the kiln. Check my most recent post. The clay is bright white, and the black much deep and richer. Plus everything is glassy and shiny. It’s never too late to take a pottery class—if the wheel is calling you :)

Thank you! Yes, they are thrown on a potters wheel, assembled and decorated by my hands-no moulds, 3d printing or any other mechanized production. I’m using porcelain, which can be a little bit fussier than stoneware or other clays…
