“Choosing what says in a book over your children” is so true

I just moved into Roxborough a few months ago and I love it, in large part because of how close I am to all this beauty. ☹️

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! Yeah, he was a very unique artist. RIP ❤️

It's so weird, it's like an inverse of what they did with Krakoa where they kept going past the planned ending. Maybe with the next Hickman project they'll get it just right.

Presumably they expected me to put it up on eBay. I can understand where they are coming from. But still it was a shock and I felt pretty bad about my reaction (there was not a sign on their booth with prices, not that I saw at least). Can I ask what your experience was like?

Tried to write about Golden Lovers vs. Apollo 55, which impossibly feels like the Omega's first big breakout match in Japan. substack.com/home/post/p-...

I once asked an artist at a con for an autograph. They said sure. I pulled out the comic I wanted signed and they said "that one is $50" in such a way that I thought they were kidding, only to realize they were NOT and I sheepishly put the comic away and said I'd think about it.

I thought it was a very anticlimactic finale. But I also didn’t really love the show.

The Observer's current business model is so obviously "Fightful but worse" and they pretend like we don't all know it.🙄

Personally I thought the Lanterns finale was pretty anticlimactic 🤷‍♂️

Jericho was basically carrying the undercard as a personality, since it was filled with great workers that were not great talkers, and Jericho did the heavy lifting in those programs with guys like Malenko, Juvi,Rey, etc.

It’s the best work of his career!

They are such a nice little snack!

Ken Raining @kenraining.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Whomever it was that the advertising agency that thought saying “croissant” like that was funny should be shot into the sun 😑

000

It definitely was not the decision that cost them the game.

On the one hand I agree with you. On the other they completely collapsed. So I dunno 🤷‍♂️

I was ready for a miserable Eagles game today but they still found a way to make it worse 🏈🦅

0131

This team is just not going anywhere with this line 🏈🦅

I am normally very aggressive but I would have just kicked it 🏈🦅

One decent offensive drive could ice this one away 🏈🦅

People need to watch Halt and Catch Fire!

2210

We are probably not talking enough about how disastrous it was to move on from Jeff Stoutland 🏈🦅

171

They may still come back to win because we are down half the team but they are not impressive at all.

040

McVay’s beard is a mess 🏈🦅

Dunno if the Eagles are going to hold on (obviously), but all things considered they played a great first half and it’s very encouraging. 🏈🦅

Love Quinyon getting pissed if because Adams keeps pushing off 🏈🦅

050

I’m gonna suggest that Darius Cooper become a bigger part of the offense 🏈🦅

150

I am going to say, again, that Tom Brady is actually very good at analyzing and explaining football. 🏈

060

Especially at the same time when the two teams in your state are playing each other!

That was quite a kick in these conditions

030

Amazing waste of time and resources to be running Ken Paxton ads during the Eagles game at the same time the two Texas teams are playing each other. That’s the kind of leadership you can expect from him in the Senate Texans!

082

Defense looks MUCH better so far today

Ken Raining @kenraining.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Glad they got sources for that!

000

Yes I understand that! The defender that never seems to touch the receiver in any meaningful way!

Ken Raining @kenraining.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Wait, when the guy jumps in the air and appears to smack the defender while reaching for the ball that’s behind him? They called pass interference on that?

Ken Raining @kenraining.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

It’s SO weird to watch now. One week they are pushed as this major group, and the next they are totally fine, Brandi is just back to normal with a passing apology to the announcers, no other explanation.
