Personally watched them fly over my house and drop water on a fire about two miles away. And guess what, it wasn’t even last year, it was a decade ago. Even though my house wasn’t especially in danger, I feel grateful every time I see those planes.

A couple of his movies I completely forgot I’ve seen, as it’s been 20 or more years. So upon viewing, I start remembering flashes, like Bill Pullman ripping on a sax in Lost Highway, or Naomi Watts arriving in Hollywood in Mulholland Drive. It just adds to the madness for me. I’m having a blast.
