PQ #fabtcg recap with Verdance. R1 vs Prism L - It was a game, at least. R2 vs Dori W - Got surprised by AB2 Skullcap Jubeel. A fun challenge. R3 vs Kano L - I punted. Get more than 4 hrs of sleep. R4 vs Valda W - Verdance for 33 is crazy. R5 vs Dori W - Turn 0 ring is crazy. Bubbled at 9th ☠️

Have a month of September #fabtcg #armoryrecap. Across 12 armories, I was 32-4 with Verdance. The four losses were to a Fang, Fai, Oscilio, and an Olympia. Draconic heroes can just run ya down, Oscilio can just have a gross combo turn, and lesson learned to plan for fatigue vs Olympia. 😂

Forgot to post that I took Verdance to a Top 4 PQ finish on Saturday. R1 W vs Cindra R2 L vs Kano R3 W vs CYB Dori R4 W vs Azalea R5 L vs Verdance T8 W vs Aurora T4 L vs Nuu Very happy with my performance overall. Two more PQs this season.

Idea for #fabtcg Team events. Rather than a locked seat, draft each round. A team is chosen to go first. They declare Hero A at Table 1. Opposing team chooses who they sent to Table 1, and declare Hero B at Table 2. First team chooses who goes to Table 2. Last players on each team at Table 3.

I’d like @fabtcg.com to do a Dev Talk when a hero LLs. Go over key wins & meta moments, the journey. But also a “here’s how we thought the deck would play, and here’s what you lunatics actually did”. How closely aligned were dev and community intentions.

#fabtcg Hot Take: I think that, eventually, Generic cards should be limited to non-talented heroes. Like you could play CnC in Uzuri and Arakni, but not Nuu or Crackni. Zealous Belting in Bravo, but not Jarl. Reign in the card pool of talents while keeping them more “honest”.

A big #armoryrecap since I haven’t posted lately, but in the past 7 armories since PQ season, I’m 19-3 with Aurora. Losses were to Dori, Oscilio, and Ira. Deck is incredibly consistent and intuitive. Gonna set it aside soon though. I need to practice second cycle decks more.
