The timeline is full of transfer news, players coming from European and South American leagues to MLS teams, pretty cool! Exciting! Can’t wait to see what the #Sounders can do! …Oh. Well that’s, uh. That’s underwhelming.

Center mid is certainly higher on the list of priorities, but a league-average striker finishes at least one if not more of the chances DeRo has had between this game and the Toluca game. It’s still shocking to me how the #Sounders FO looked at the striker options and decided they were good enough.

I busted my ass trying to get home in time for the start of the match and that’s how my effort is rewarded? I should have known not to bother. #Sounders #TOLvSEA

Reign doing some heavy lifting for us Seattle soccer heads. Really nice win vs SD. Sounders should sign a Maddie Mercado-type player. Or maybe just Maddie herself.

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

8.8% chance to win? That’s laughable. Way too high. #Sounders #PHIvSEA

If Stu Hawk is hitting passes like that, he’s gonna be special. #ATXvSEA

Well, can’t blame that on the coaches or the front office. Just pathetic defending. Ugh. #ATXvSEA

I miss the World Cup. That was a lot of fun.

Peter Kingston with the most incisive move by a Sounder all night. #SEAvPOR

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Blow it up, team is cooked. Keep Brunell & maybe Rothrock, everyone else can go. You don’t have a functioning striker, JF is lost on the wing, Rusnák isn’t close to good enough, Cristian is great but not getting any younger, PdlV will never be healthy enough. Utter failure by the FO. #SEAvPOR

Love the replay of Portland’s goal where you can see Kelsy running full speed while every Sounder is jogging and no one even bothers to try and keep up or change course to get in his way. Not entertaining. At all. #Sounders

This is one of the best halves of soccer I’ve ever seen, and I watch A LOT of soccer. If you’re not entertained by this, you just don’t like sports or drama or anything fun.

Through Haaland, all things are possible.

That was awesome. Long live Cabo Verde.

I turned on the Mexico - Ecuador game just in time to hear Rob Green absolutely butcher Julián Quiñones’s name. I would bet a year’s salary on it not being the first time tonight.

Today’s games have been awesome. I love this shit.

Trusty aside, I would not mind ever seeing any of that defensive back line in a US shirt again, and certainly not together. Bummer, but on we march. #USMNT

I was told players who came up through MLS academies couldn’t compete.

Are you kidding me with this team? GET THE FUCK INNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. #USMNT

I work with a guy from Ecuador, and seeing him sitting in the lunch room after that game smiling the biggest smile you've ever seen is reason enough to root for immigrants and against this dipshit administration.

More of that from Gakpo, please. Direct, incisive, and left-footed.

Cue the “it’s just Paraguay, it’s just Australia, let’s see them do it against a quality opponent” crowd. Shut the damn hell up. This is unknown territory for us, and it feels really fucking nice. #USMNT

Freeman. MLS fuckin rules, man.

Big 20 hours for MLS, but wait until Cristian Roldan scores a goal against Türkiye. Then we’ll see what true MLS sicko culture looks like.

I want to kick this asshole in the balls so much. I would pay for the privilege.

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Just putting it out there. If anyone has an extra ticket for Friday’s match, I will do anything for it. I know ball, I will be loud, and I will buy your drinks.

FUCK YEAH, FLO. What a half. What is this feeling? #USMNT

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Pro tip: Peacock is streaming the World Cup (in Spanish) and is not showing commercials during hydration breaks. This alone makes it the better option for viewing, plus the added bonus of not having to hear Warren Barton or (especially) Alexi Lalas. Fuck FIFA, fuck Fox.

001

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

We’re really doing commercials during hydration breaks? They’re really sucking every single bit of the soul out of the game, aren’t they. Eat shit, FIFA.

94th minute, on the ball with minimal pressure, multiple forwards in the game, and a single player inside the box. 🙄 #Sounders

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Sure wish we had tried to win this game instead of seeing out a scoreless draw.

I generally like when Google does the fireworks thing after a team wins, but I did NOT enjoy it when looking at the Premier League table just now.

000

Kenneth Waid @kennethwaid.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

If I were the Sounders and I needed to score a goal to beat the worst team in the league, I personally would play with a functional striker. But I’m just some guy, so. #Sounders

Another goal conceded on a corner. Getting real tired of seeing that. Real tired.
