Craig Stammen looks like he will be involved in a crypto scheme 5 years after those stop being a thing

Also if your playing pitcher heavy lineups I think the players most likely to steal bases are Pratt, Hill, Taylor and Merrill

If your not ranking 772 college football teams a week what are you doing with your life?

Now they just have to get a hold during the 6 minutes that will be added to the clack for Michigan

I watched every episode and at the end of every single one I thought “ok people have to see how this show simply spins its wheels in fancy rooms” and that was never the response

Remember most boosts for SGP’s are still horrible propositions but 50% on a two leg is ok

Made a few bucks week one of college football but whatever- here are my bets for opening NFL game: Pretty simple- Boost on Fanatics Seattle -3.5 20 to win 46 Boosted SGP ON #Draftkings Seattle -3 and over 19.5 yards on D Douglas (NE) 20 to win 87

Underdog Exposures are not that different:

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 09/09/2026
Almost all of that Diggs is from before he signed and was in the 120 to 140 range, that was my best move of the summer - a lot of the Ferguson was also early on when he was 18th round or later The Jacobs exposure is bad- I really didn’t think anything would happen this year

Honestly surprised to see that much Drake May, Sam Darnold and Bernard - I wasn’t really targeting those guys at all. Maybe I should pay more attention to my exposures during draft season.

I’m glad you are happy to continue to paying more each year for the same (or worsening) product. Costumers are allowed to stop frequenting a business without being “anti labor”

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Maybe “slightly less greedy” would have been a better phrase. You get that one.

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
The NFL has a 52/48% revenue split towards the owners So that means each time the salary cap goes up the owners have made even more profit than the players - not a ton more but more. That money is coming from you, not the owners.
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Ok - in 2018 the NFL salary Cap was 177 million per team Do you think NFL players were fairly compensated then? The NFL salary cap is now over 300 million Do you think the owners now make 123 million less per year? Why is everyone so anxious to send their money to either of these groups?
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
So it’s ok to not feel good about any deal, since it is going to be a bad one for you the sports fan personally.
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
The owners will never take a cut in the amount of dollars they make, so you can cheer for the players to get a higher percentage, but that means the pie must get bigger and that increase is coming from you- the fan- not the owners.
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
The reasons they get voted down is because people don’t want money transferred to others from them in the form of their school taxes. So the argument here is that I wish I did not have to pay as high of a sports fan tax as I currently do.
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Had the school district you live in ever tried to pass a budget that included a substantial raise for teachers? If so what happened? My wife and I both work in education and it’s been a long time since a district around here even tried, because they get voted down by wide margins.

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Alright- the Orioles are the last leg of a parlay for me, so I’m gonna put my phone down and log into my MLB TV account and feel like a bad person because I wish it cost me less.
000
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Yes and some labor is underpaid and some is paid fairly as is. I guess you gotta decide if professional athletes are compensated fairly. I think they are but i have also never once said I want the owners to get more.

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
That’s an issue for how the unions have decided to spread their share of revenue across their members. If overall payroll did not go up they could change how it is allocated.
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
The idea that leagues can continue to increase revenue without passing that bill to fans is not believable to me. So if you think only one side is working to increase revenue than I guess you have your side figured out
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Ya, I have worked in education my whole life. I don’t think it’s crazy for fans to want to FAN experience to be better. That might mean not having to sign up for a 7th streaming service….. which might mean that the pie they are splitting is .8% smaller. I guess that’s a wild idea.

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
If you feel those are comparable situations then we just see things different. It’s not like I’m not signing up for Red Zone next week, I’m just gonna feel a bit ripped off when I do and I don’t think JUST the owners are to blame.

Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
So you think there is some chance in the near future that professional atheltes will be paid poorly related to people who do jobs that actually provide a positive Impact on other people?
000
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Soooooo why do you care about either side? The players will never be vocal about supporting my profession so why am I worried about them? I guess I simply don’t understand why anyone cares who “wins” labor disputes in professional sports if they think they will personally get screwed in the end.
300
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Of course they won’t. Doesn’t mean I have to like the players. When you go to the grocery store do you try pay extra so the deli worker takes more money home?
200
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Nope and I don’t expect anyone to cheer for me at work. I also only expect my salary to come from those I provide direct benefits to. It’s ok not to cheer for any for profit company or for the employees of for profit companies. I did not try to frame either side as the good guys.
200
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Not if the leagues made an effort to keep them down. My point is you can not like anyone, players owners, tv companies….. there is not always any good guys
100
Ken L @kenl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
I get the argument that players are less evil than the billionaire owners but I’ve yet to hear a player anywhere say “hey maybe we can just all make the same amount that we do now for the next five years so fans TV costs don’t go up anymore” So they still aren’t good guys/women
