A story about the US Postal Service: My wife's aunt lived in the Dordogne (France) countryside for >35 years before dying in January. My wife is there now to wrap up the estate. This is what happened today when she tried to mail some things back to the USA.

Ken, you won’t believe this: I went to the post office to ask about mailing a package and to pick up a customs form. The postal person told me they’re accepting no cartons, no boites bound tor the U. S. Why? Because the u.s. mail is a mess. Many lost packages, many returned packages. ‘It’s Trump,’ she said. My theory? The usps has been so busy getting ready to fuck up the elections they’re not taking care of the mail. This is unbelievable. That motherfucker ruins EVERYTHING! She said to mail a carton I’d have to go to DHL type office and there are none nearby. We’re leaving tomorrow so that’s out. I’m furious. No Corot for Laurie.
