Cosmos DB’s _ts value is useful, but not especially readable. Multiply it by 1000 and use TIMESTAMPTODATETIME to inspect the document’s last-modified time directly in a SQL query. kendaleiv.com/creating-a-u...

Your background loop probably doesn't need Task.Delay. For periodic async work, PeriodicTimer makes the intent much clearer: wait for the next tick, do the work, repeat. One consumer at a time, dispose it, pass the token. learn.microsoft.com/dotnet/api/syst…

AT TIME ZONE in T-SQL is great for bucketing counts (like daily) while respecting historical offset changes like daylight saving. Small gotcha: You'll need to map from IANA to Windows Time Zone IDs for Azure SQL if sending IANA time zone via a browser. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/t-... #sql
