A pause for lunch and a pic of the only king bolete found today. This will probably go into omelettes along with yesterday’s find. It is quite early in the season to be finding these at all! The second picture is likely a conifer bolete hiding there. They say those are really bitter! Left it there.

A solitary king bolete found on the trail to my fishing beach today. These are my absolute favorite! It’s a little earlier in the season than we are used to finding them. We’re going on a hike tomorrow to a spot that really produced last year. Perhaps we’ll find more!!! #fungifriends

Right! We are into composting too. Also, I go clamming in the winter so all the inedible parts of those get buried in the plot where the greenhouse goes. Nightshades love that I understand. Unfortunately this was a bad year for banana slugs here. They absolutely destroyed our pepper plants.

We have a small greenhouse that I’d love to try growing a plant in. Unfortunately growing it is not legal here (to grow) and my neighbor probably wouldn’t be cool with it if he smelled it. (He’s a Republican) I let some tomatillos go in there and they’ve taken over the whole thing ! 🤣

That tent sounds discreet! I visited my step-brother a few years ago and it wasn’t legal recreationally yet where he lives. He was growing a plant in his garden that was very low to the ground but loaded with buds. Much easier to conceal than the tall plants my stepfather used to grow.

My girl likes the flower and she got some powerful stuff the other day. It’s a sativa/indica hybrid that she says mellows her right out. I took one big hit to try it and I couldn’t sleep for hours! Mind racing around, time distortion, weirdness, etc. No more sativa for me.

😂 Yea they can mess you up for hours! I’m pretty fussy in my old age with edibles. It has to be the perfect dose even if I have to cut them and it has to be Indica preferably with a good amount of cbn. Makes me high AND sleepy before bed.
