30 mile trip along the coast this morning for a cup o' tea. Every mile brings back memories of being 18 again & on an identical bike at the seaside. It's warmer in Hastings than Aberdour though. My clothes smell of 2 stroke & the fear is on me from tiny negligible drum brakes 🥰

One has the thick end of 170bhp & was expensive. The other has barely 60bhp, was a CAT N write off, & was cheap. Guess which one costs more to insure? Or would if I accepted the automatic renewal of £395 for the Guzzi, which is almost double last years. I'll be looking around 😁

Cleaned the carb, all good again. It's weird how something so slow and awful can actually be great fun to ride 😊 I used to think it was a bit noisy with the Supertrapp exhausts, but that was before I got the Guzzi and the Diavel....

Out for dinner with my darling wife (& friends) at the Six Bells in Chiddingly. Haven't been on the Guzzi for a while, it's got ⅓ the BHP of the Diavel, it was a bit harder keeping up Mrs KB on her R1250GS 😊 Need a Guzzi shirt as well. 'Loud Clutches Save Lives' doesn't fit.

SIG! Still cancer free, checkups now go to six monthly. I may have a small sherry to celebrate 😎🍺 Cancer was a bit of a nuisance but it's easily the most effective diet I've ever tried. I can't in all honesty recommend it though 😁
