A couple students were shell shocked to discover I used to have pink hair & a nose ring Which made me realize I now give the mistaken impression of being a normie. This is unacceptable, so I now must ponder how to best reclaim the defiant nature my younger self better represented lol

It might be just due to FERPA, not every tech tool/ai is FERPA friendly & compliant and that’s why we’re not allowed to use a lot of them in school setting. Gemini is FERPA compliant when used through a school official account, so that’s probably why it’s allowed.

Same. Kids often come to the library & find me standing in the middle, hands on hips, just staring at the shelves and they’re like “um..are you ok” and I’m like “yep, just pondering” 😂 I need that marinating time to work through options, ideas, & scenarios but I’m sure it looks unproductive lol
