Okay, yes, but also remember that time Alphonse had a girl inside of him who refused to come out, which protected her for a while but eventually led to her death?

Screenshot of Alphonse from Full Metal Alchemist, with the character Martel hiding inside of him and peeking out from under his head.

Guess we’re doing this. pass it on!! It's pfp day where you post your pfp. again. everyone look at the picture you've seen 9,932 times!! Here’s Morgan, the heroine of my novel, Part Time Familiar, who find herself after turning into a catgirl. This rendition of her is by @rumcoora.bsky.social

It’s a cute catgirl with a weird magical sigil for an arm tattoo. She’s wearing a sleeveless blouse and doing a Sailor Moon gang sign or something.

I love that my horny trans foxgirls-and-werewolves story has folklore nerds in the comment section to appreciate its deep cultural roots 😸

A scribblehub comment thread:
nothingspecial: ALSO OMIGOD IS THAT AN YSENGRIM/REYNARD REFERENCE I SPY
kelmor: Not directly, though I am referencing an actual folktale. Haven’t read the one you’re referring to, but it may be related in some manner.
nothingspecial: (Part of the same larger body of material, I believe - I *think* "Ysengrimus" might be the point where it shifted from fox/bear to fox/wolf, but it's folklore/medieval literature so it's hard to be 100% certain. In any case, *mutual-nerding happy dance*)

The conversation continues past here, but it's cropped out of the image.

Alright, let's do this dumb thing Seems about right. My wife and I are philosophically pro-polyamory but strongly "who has the fucking time" at this juncture in our lives. My libido is generally fairly low as well and I've never really sought out partners.

A results chart from relationship-compass.com showing a red dot. On the "limits other" axis, I'm mostly on the "doesn't limit other" end, while on the "interested in many/one" axis, I'm nearly dead middle. This straddles the quadrants of "practical progressive" and "polycule slutcloud".

Bonus content, the reference I provided for the glaive. This is why I don't do my own art, though I may try to learn to suck less so that I can provide better reference material for actual artists.

Having embraced becoming a catgirl witch, the next level was obviously getting a magical girl transformation via an intelligent magical crystal. Morgan's summer of weirdness continues in Part Time Familiar. Art by @rumcoora.bsky.social #art #fantasyart #drawing #catgirl #mahoushoujo #magicalgirl

Sketch of a catgirl with short black hair. She's wearing an outfit similar to what the Sailor Scouts in Sailor Moon wear when transformed, though her gloves and thigh-high boots are armor plated. She is holding a glaive with a head shaped like a crescent moon with a gem set into it.

The background is a mountainous region with pine trees at night, with the crescent moon shining overhead.

You can kind of stretch that a bit if you're willing to make some sacrifices.

Image of Bonta-kun, a mascot-suit-sized mecha used in "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu", the gag season of an otherwise totally serious (sort of) mecha show, seen here in tactical gear with a squad of additional mechs of this variety.

Just an elf repping her favorite tech company. Though these days, she's got some mixed feelings about them, as anyone who has ever had a 'favorite tech company' has likely had to contend with at some point. Art by @rumcoora.bsky.social #art #fantasyart #elf #elfenjoyers #drawing

An elf girl with short dark hair and a nice smile does a pose, holding her index and middle finger in a V just above her face. In between her fingers, she holds a small cube-shaped crystal. She wears a white v-neck t-shirt with the letters "SAT" emblazoned on the chest.

Precious daughter, your blood-curdling screams in the night are a joy to the whole house.

A calico cat with a small stuffed seal, seen here shortly after making an awful lot of noise. She looks up into the camera innocently, knowing exactly what she's done. There is no remorse.

Without downloading any new pics, describe your gender—and please remember alt text 💞

A flyer titled “Books that read you”. It reads: “You’ve read books. Now it’s their turn. Five blank books will be shipped to you along with their home (book rack). Set them in the room you sleep. Do not touch the books. The books may make sounds. Do not open the books. Everyone wants to be in a book.”

Additional random notes around the page say things like “It is their turn” and “Do not open the books. Listen to instructions. Set up like this, no exceptions,” which is next to a diagram of the books on a book rack.

It then says: “To order send an empty envelope with a return address to the address below and you shall receive the books. No questions. No charge. The books may bleed. Tell no one of the books:”

This is followed by an address:

“Paperback Paradise
Books That Read You Offer
123 Skeleton Street
Suite 69
Man Screaming, ND
45535-7175”

On the last line, it says: “The books will know if you tell.”
