Just got back from my weekly kale run at Sprouts. (I’m a kale snob.) The produce guy and the cashier both said that they hadn’t had any product recalls, even though they carry Taylor Farms items. The produce guy also said that sales were down. Hoping for some price drops!

Taylor Farms, the purported source of the cyclosporiasis outbreak, supplies to Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Sprouts, BK, Chipotle, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Subway, Taco Bell, & many others. But the FDA has singled out Taco Bell. Wonder why? Here's a pic of the Taco Bell CEO. Trump knows his voters.

Sean Tresvant is the Global Chief Executive Officer of Taco Bell and the Chief Consumer Officer of its parent company, Yum! Brands. He's Black, which is why Taco Bell is being singled out by the Trump regime for blame in the cyclosporiasis outbreak.

It looks like Jerry Mathers & Tony Dow were in the play “Boeing Boeing” in 1978 at the Gateway Country Dinner Playhouse. Looks like it was a fun one! I wish I had gone to more when I was in elementary school and the plays featured big TV stars. They don't have plays like that anymore.

I found a copy of the playbill online! I totally saw Randolph Mantooth in Arsenic and Old Lace at the Gateway Country Dinner Playhouse in St. Pete in May 1983. (Jesus, 43 years.) I wasn't crazy (not about that anyway). It was a memorable performance! Sad that he's gone.

Happy Last Day of Hurricane Season to all who celebrate and vote Blue! I deleted my National Hurricane Center - NOAA bookmark 3 weeks ago, in a fit of optimism. (I always warily add it back June 1.) We were so lucky this year! It won't last, but was still nice for a time.
