✨ANNOUNCEMENT✨ I'm starting a year-long journey to make a diary comic every day until my 40th birthday next year. I don't have a strict plan for these - how long will they be? How often will I post? How often will I draw my cats doing something horrible? We'll find out together! Here we go ✌️ 🧵1/2

We are the least serious city on the planet

While Pope Leo XIV is from Chicago, we inquired about the Philadelphia Eagles.

"He was non-committal with the Eagles," Farrell said. "He was very happy when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. He rejoiced with those of us from Philly."

Farrell said he did not hear the Holy Father say "Go Birds" at any point during the Super Bowl.

If your base instinct isn't to make art or enjoy the beauty of this world, what is the point of you? I think about the use of AI to spare brainpower from something like writing an email, to do WHAT exactly instead? Take people's resources away? Rewrite history? Make money? Just to prove you can?

🔥 Hourly Comic Day 2025 🔥 1/3 (My hourlies are never late; they arrive precisely when they mean to) Used toned paper this year since it was my only small sketchbook & I needed to draw on the go. Highly recommend a good burn with friends now and then ❤️ #hourlycomicday #hourlycomicday2025 #hcd2025

My most intrusive thought after yesterday's events is that I'd like to hang out with GWB and talk to him about his art

Neil Gaiman stating "To repeat, I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone" is something that an incredible number of men who have committed SA could say aloud or to themselves, because it's their truth. Their experience. It's not the truth. It wasn't the victim's experience.

Finally had a chance to check out the Philly Comics Now exhibit at the Pearlstein Gallery, curated by the fine folks at Partners & Son... and I'm in it! (along with a ton of incredible Philly cartoonists & old friends) There's only a few days left to check it out - show closes 12/15!

Wow, hi Public Bluesky! My phone exploded with notifications over the weekend, which is very cool & nice, so here's a little about me and my work to say hello 👋 Stick around for lots of fun, weird, self-indulgent comics I've got in the works! Let's share art, tell stories, and reimagine the world.

Trina Robbins gave me the firmest handshake of my life when I met her. I told her how firm it was and she yanked me in to say "I know." I've squeezed people's hands as hard as possible from that day on. What a cool person, what a good legacy. (repost since I misremembered but this is even better)

Magneto... finds a way. I've been thriving with the gift that has been #Xmen97, but my main gripe remains: MAKE MAGNETO SEXY AGAIN ❤️‍🔥 (Thanks/not sorry for the lifelong visual influence of @jimlee.bsky.social) (Thanks to Mr. Goldblum's gentle repose) (Meme not mine - lmk the source) ❌❌❌

Happy Labor Day! As we enjoy this day off, let's just be clear that unregulated capitalism is the root of all problems and the growing class divide is an intentional movement to suppress workers for the sake of the elite. ✌️

Double-page spread from a comic featuring numerous Kellys in various states of distress and frustration. Figures and faces are contorted, gesturing passionately, or withdrawn. Speech bubbles and text are jumbled between the figures and share sentiments of irritation.
