Rainbows and rays… During the desert’s monsoon season. #Weather #BlueSkyArtShow After lightning and thunder, unfolded beauty and wonder. #Photography #LookUp #Rainbow #Light #Rain #Nature #Wonder #ECK #Art #Skyscape

Pure happenstance – had routinely opened the back door, happened to glance sideward & look up – what a surprise!
One vibrant rainbow, a fainter second one, & light rays from the unseen sun. (In bottom left corner of image = small part of roof.)
Desert image seen during a previous summer, of rare, heavy desert rains.

Peace is vitally important: from a little nature scene, to the need in a much larger way, amongst humans. A special place is in God’s heart, for peacemakers: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” #Photography #Peace #Butterfly #WildFlowers #Kindness #Compassion

To Ponder – 4 Do you ever struggle to perceive, that the Living God, actually and deeply, loves you? God’s words: “Oh, how can I give you up…? How can I let you go?... My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows.” Hosea 11:8, NLT #Inspire #Love #Wisdom #Compassion

On first glance, this butterfly with wings folded may look dull. But with wings open, its other colors & character are seen. Life Lesson from Creation: We need to consistently look beneath the surface, of people & situations, to have a whole, more accurate picture. #Photography #Butterfly #Wisdom

A desert Snout Butterfly (so named after its rather long, snout-like facial extension.) With wings folded, it’s mostly grey with some orange peeking through.

With wings open, the desert Snout Butterfly is quite different… Now we know more.

To Ponder – 3 Did the Living God of the universe, ever deeply grieve, during the course of human history? If so, what was the reason? “The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great… And the LORD…it grieved him to his heart.” Genesis 6:5-6, ESV Not the only time God’s heart has grieved...
