Despite what anti-abortion activists claim, abortion pills are extraordinarily safe. The real danger is the disinformation and junk science designed to create a culture of fear around basic health care.

This piece from @gregggonsalves.bsky.social is fantastic. It is insightful, witty, and well-cited, and it feels like exactly the right piece for this moment. We might have alignment on certain issues, but cannot ignore the racism and impact of the MAHA agenda. www.thenation.com/article/soci...

People w/ disabilities belong in decisions that shape health care, education, workplaces, and community life—and their contributions benefit everyone. Whether they know it or not, many people use & rely on disability-led advocacy and design: voice dictation, closed captions, curb cuts, audiobooks, ♾️

This is a great piece and a reminder that medication abortion is safe and effective--so safe and effective in fact that it could/should be available over-the-counter!
