7/9 are childhood watches which you know watching Higurashi in middle school was cracked. Not all of them would be my favorites today but they do hold a special place inside my brain 💕

the 9 animes meme template with: Kaliedo Star, Bocchi the Rock, K-ON!, Inuyasha, Higurashi: When They Cry, Spice and Wolf the OG, Lucky Star, Bean Counter Isekai, and Shakugan no Shana. It said 9 anime that shaped who you are today and it's like i got a lot of faves now but they didn't shape who i am today. Bocchi is an exception because it just be. Bean counter is also exception because I wouldn't be drowning in yaoi for the last 8 months if i never watched it XDDDDDD.
Dumb childhood brain couldn't comprehend much so while I have like Lucky Star, Spice and Wolf, and Higurashi on here, it doesn't mean I actually comprehended what was happening (especially the time loops in higurashi, japanese culture in Lucky Star (this was back in the pre 2010s), and the economy in Spice and Wolf). So while I didn't fully understand them, they left a huge impression enough on me today for me to rewatch higurashi, and spice and wolf and lucky star is always an icon.

i feel like it's pretty metal to set sparklers, do whatever they did to create a foggy ground, and have the medal awarders wear such decorative dresses for something that's not the Olympics

screenshot of the awards ceremony of the ISU Junior Women Free Skating | Ankara 2026 livestream. It's showing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place pairs standing on their podiums with the women who award the medals in fancy medieval dresses (or that's what i think they look like) and there's huge sparklers going off in the back. And the bottom of the rink is encased in a fog. like this feels more extra than the olympics award ceremonies lol but yess go off and be super extra cause these people deserve the good stuff too!!

Lara! I drew this after watching ep 1 i think - i love the show, the animation is cute the coloring is solid and the characters are wholesome #art #GoodbyeLara

sketch in clip studio paint of lara from goodbye lara the anime. i love the show the art and everything and it's so wholesome casual. altho i think if it's yuri route we need more girl time but also i'm fine if they go aromantic route cause u know we never get those things.

doomed yuri on today's plate ToT death flags plastered everywhere but the show doesn't hold back on war and "noble bravery" can simply be a meaningless sacrifice very good show ok back to the doomed yaoi

Screenshot of our side pair conversing about battle for war. SPOILER UPCOMING like girllll why you in a warzone looking out at the sunrise like what u doing. the show did so good on like she thought she was "doing the right thing" and "was doing her duty to pay back her debt and keep her gf safe" but all you did was die and the people in the battlefield didn't even remember your presence. again showing war sucks and sacrifices are brave but also at least in this context, it didn't do anything she wanted to achieve.

YAOI DAY means I get to recommend!!! (And buy books) 🌈✨ The art in all these super good A+++++ and full of fluff cute descriptions in the alt text with titles because my gushing can't stay within the character limit ✨

interior illustraion of Fake Fact Lips - Recommend Fake Fact Lips and then the sequel Fake Fact Lips Break. Office worker the art is hot as always I love this artist. Coworkers compete and then do the thing~~~ oh my goshfklsjdkf it took me forever to find a place to buy the ebook apparently kobo doesn't sell the sequel so I had to go to apple books for this. Somehow the sequel is actually 2 volumes but the english mashed it all into one.

Interior illustration from clumsy kiss - the newest book from Suehiro! The art is super good so I went all into this one and it's sooooooo cute fluff oh my goshsfkselj the story is like standard boy girl and then like spin off yess lesss gooooooooo I haven't finished it yet but the dynamic is always cute shy fluff

Interior cover illustration for Loveless Momentum - a side story of Breathless Momentum that fleshes out a side character. I love the whole series because it's about instruments and super cute fluff and the art is sosoooooooooo good and detailed

interior illustration from Love in he Palm of His Hand - it is literally like A Sign of Affection + Oshi no Ko's theater side. One guy is theater student the other is a deaf student and it's super cute fluff that also focuses on non-romance stuff like careers and communicating with hard of hearing very cute very recommend.

Kellie Nicely @kellienicely.com · 01/07/2026

I forgot to throw out my faves during this month but this - Breathless Momentum - is my top tier fav - you got instruments, perfect humor, and super cute fluff 🌈✨😍 There's so much extras after the main chapters and they're just as good i'm so happy they're doing another volume past the final 😭💖

screenshot of volume 3 of breathless momentum cause i wanted to highlight something other than the volume 1 pic and yes i bought these with my own money and i'll be buying the japanese ones soontm because i got the drama CDs too

1 page comic of the couple buying cute stuffed bear from volume 2 - i assume it's OK to screenshot???? it just occurred to me maybe it's not kosher but how else are you gonna find something new and spend 50+ dollars on it????

chapter end extra 1 page comic of dressing up the bear. the extra bits after the chapters and the extra 50+ pages of content after the main meat is soooooo good it adds so much humor fluff and i look forward to that more than the chapters sometimes but i read all the english ones for now but i got the paper volume 7 so i need to translate it but i probably just buy the digital cause it's easier to zoom in

The anime cover illustration for the Gender of Mona Lisa aaaaaaaaaaaajldsjlfkeflsje i still can't believe something like this would get greenlit and by SHAFT! was it the magic of square enix?????
