Agreed. I also agree that people who complain about remakes and sequels ought to do their part by going to see high-quality original animated films. Wildwood looks amazing.

Good ranking. I just wish Burton were better with female characters. In his filmography, the only FCs I like are Lydia Deetz, Barbara Maitland, and Emily the Corpse Bride.

It isn’t misogynistic to make women characters evil. But when an author writes ALL their women characters as evil, or when they’re split between evil badasses on the one hand and useless, passive damsels on the other, I start to have questions.
