Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Happy to help! Yeah making them several pieces with little alignment sprues is a good strat. Best of luck, I believe in you! 020
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 25/09/2026That said, your sculptures are a bit complex and might not do well in that type of mold. This video's technique might be a good jumping off point. You'll have to find your own "mold lines" since you're not copying a toy but the technique is sound. youtu.be/piG04g76Ma8?...youtu.beFAST 2-PART MOLD | How to make a silicone putty mold, how to copy toys and figuresYouTube video by The Crafsman Steady Craftin 101
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Boy do I have the channel for you. Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 14/04/2026Hmmm a graph of randomly placed points where adjacency is defined by a Delaunay triangulation and automata states cause the points to move, die, or replicate? Would probably look nice if displayed as a Voronoi diagram. It's spatial sure but it'd be kinda neat I think 121
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 09/01/2026I thought about that! I held off because I think I want platforming to feel fearless, but clicking and uncovering tiles to feel scary. That said, if there are more movement options and it's easier to avoid touching the ground then maybe that's a different story. 010
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 08/01/2026Prototyping! Minesweeper but you have to platform around in there. Minesweeper is my favorite roguelike so I feel like doing something goofy with it would be fun. Maybe purchasable upgrades? A double jump would add a lot. Or a grappling hook 👀 I'm gonna keep fiddling with it. #gamedev #godot 380
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 10/12/2024Oh yeah for sure, Rain World is a big inspiration to me. Playing it for the first time was mind-blowing 010
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 09/12/2024Great question: they spiral! Made the offset bigger to show it off a little better. 110
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 09/12/2024What if...fish?? Really like how this looks. It's the same underlying stuff, but each fish has a random speed variance, and a rotating offset from the mouse that they're chasing. Surprisingly does a lot to sell them looking organic. #gamedev #godot 2173
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 09/12/2024What if the procedural snake actually looked like a snake? Hmmmmmm #gamedev #godot 0120
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Still working on this procedural animation thing. ✅Draw it as custom polygons on the fly ✅Give it a maximum angle so it doesn't crinkle weird and has nice curves ❌Still pretty jerky when it's close to the mouse More to do but I've learned a TON about Godot doing this. #gamedev #godot 1100

Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 11/11/2024Still getting to know Godot. Little procedural animation rough draft, already looks pretty good with just our default robot svg. Hopefully Bluesky video upload will cooperate with me here? Always an adventure figuring that out. #gamedev #godot 040
Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 25/10/2024Shaking off the game dev rust and familiarizing myself with Godot using this great tutorial: youtu.be/LOhfqjmasi0?... Really enjoying how Godot ticks, the composition focus makes it feel a lil different and a lil funky. 020

Kejaba @kejaba.bsky.social · 24/10/2024I guess I should make a post so I don't look like a bot. Hi! I like to make a broad variety of things. My day job is programming. I've done some game dev in the past but a harddrive failure means I don't have much laying around. I'm trying to get back into game dev. So watch out! This is a threat. 050
