My fave: The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle. Loved it. Loved all the characters & am still routing for them (hoping for a sequel!) Least favourite: In Five Years, I don't think any best friend would actually behave like that & really didn't enjoy it. If you have any must reads please let me know

Love love love an audiobook - would recommend getting Libby (or whatever your library uses) as then you can have free library audiobooks straight to your phone. My favourite is Fern Brady's Strong Female Character, which she reads herself so feels like she is telling you her life story herself.

Agreed, I tried to help my son with a maths GCSE question. I approached full of confidence announcing proudly "of course I can help I did maths A Level", I quickly realised his GCSE work is harder than what I did for A Level in 1997!

My grandad was the eldest followed by 3 girls. My grandad & the youngest remained in Liverpool, the middle two children were sent to Australia as Barnardos orphans.
