The Looney Tunes example is so stupid if this is the argument. Yes let’s imagine a future where having criticized the racism makes us look foolish. Better be careful!? Insane argument
Except lots of stuff was made before 2018. To determine that almost all of it requires some sort of disavowal is to privilege the present over all other times, to assume that current standards necessarily improve upon those of the past, and to discount the reassessment that inevitably comes later. “The rest of ‘The West Wing,’ which ended its run in 2006, is still a really good show,” the writer said. “But our culture has undergone a seismic shift.”

True. But there will be many more seismic shifts; there already have been. Whatever is deemed to have aged poorly at one moment may appear healthier in another. Today’s disclaimers will then require their own disclaimers tomorrow — so how many do we want?

Did the left make it impossible to be satisfied with opposing illegal immigration, or did Trump simply make it OK for them to be openly racist? Reflexive centrism is easy to publish but intellectually lazy. The left isn't responsible for making them more racist, dingus.

le.utah.gov/xcode/title7... Kind of a problematic law, like any "Stand your ground" law.

(a)	An individual is justified in threatening or using force against another individual when and to the extent that the individual reasonably believes that force or a threat of force is necessary to defend the individual or another individual against the imminent use of unlawful force.
(b)	An individual is justified in using force intended or likely to cause death or serious bodily injury only if the individual reasonably believes that force is necessary to prevent death or serious bodily injury to the individual or another individual as a result of imminent use of unlawful force, or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

The hellsite has made the "Yes->Yes" guys feel like they are the majority. It does not lead to great group dynamics.
Flowchart. "Woman posts about big achievement" -> "Do Men Care? Yes or no". The "No" option leads to the terminator "They don't react". The "Yes" option leads to another decision. "Are they insecure pissbabies?" The "No" option leads to a terminator "Congrats!". The "Yes" option leads to a terminator "They soothe their egos with sexist insults" with an X (twitter) logo attached.

Lmao
Still frame from video of grifter Tim Ballard complaining that ther was a “deep churh” conspiracy to ruin his reputation. It is funny because he’s attempting to repurpose “deep state” in a totally inane way and misspelled “church” in doing so.

Apparently the style guide has you censor the F word only when capitalized.
“She repeatedly stated we were ‘F------ Incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a fucking US Representative,’” Pfc. Aaron W. Reed, who serves with the airport police, wrote in the report. Reed also wrote that Mace told officers they “would never treat Tim Scott like this,” referring to the U.S. senator from the state and former GOP presidential candidate, and reported that she planned to contact “Eliot and tell him how horrible she has been treated,” in reference to the airport’s president and CEO, Elliott Summey.

For anyone who isn't familiar
At one point, for example, Kavanaugh minimizes the impact of a law enforcement stop. “Importantly, reasonable suspicion means only that immigration officers may briefly stop the individual and inquire about immigration status,” he claimed. “If the person is a U.S. citizen or otherwise lawfully in the United States, that individual will be free to go after the brief encounter. Only if the person is illegally in the United States may the stop lead to further immigration proceedings.”

I honestly want someone to (somehow, idk) FORCE Brett Kavanaugh to respond to these details. Even someone maximally prepared for a Kavanaugh stop gets mistreated for a long time. His fantasy of how this works is completely absurd.

This Barney Fife shit is entirely consistent with all the other information I've recently learned about ICE officers. Bunch of idiots who want to be in an action movie and don't have any brains OR training.
According to CNN, investigators believe an ICE officer approached the suspect’s car and smashed the window with their service weapon. CNN’s source reported that it is believed the agent’s weapon discharged while they attempted to grab the suspect, striking both the suspect and a deputy U.S. Marshal.

Wired interviewed Cybertruck owners. The first guy was a Jewish gay rights supporter. OK, I thought. Different kinds of people own these things. Don't assume too much. Then the second guy was this one. Nicely done, Wired. www.wired.com/story/owning...
"How do you feel about becoming a political lightning rod?"

People occasionally just flip [me] off or whatever, but nobody's come up to me and tried to make a statement about anything. Personally, it's kind of dumb. It's just a vehicle. So it's ironic that it would even become a political statement, but nonetheless it is. [Editor’s note: Taylor was arrested and plead guilty to conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding in the January 6 attack on the Capitol. He was later pardoned by President Trump.]

Screenshot of google providing a bullshit explanation of the made-up saying "you can't eat the glass ceiling" after googling that phrase plus "meaning".

The "AI Overview" in the results says the following:

The saying "can't eat the glass ceiling" is a humorous way of acknowledging that while the concept of the glass ceiling is real, it's not a literal obstacle you can physically overcome by eating through it. The saying emphasizes that the glass ceiling is an invisible, yet pervasive, barrier that prevents individuals, particularly women and minorities, from advancing to higher-level positions in organizations

Some provide trays with a cup-shaped support that wedges into the cupholder (it's hollow and tapered so you can still put your drink into the similar holder on/through the tray). Here's a screenshot of one example. The theater should offer one a bit bigger than this example though.
A picture of a disembodied arm holding a black plastic tray with a cup-shaped insert, above a cupholder in a theater recliner. The suggestion is that you can put the tray in the cupholder, then put your cup in the corresponding spot in the tray, and hold food on the flat part of the tray.

NY Times seems to feel free to lie in their headlines if it helps the full court press against Biden staying in the race. This is insane. The article includes pushback from Pelosi saying they are making stuff up, but that doesn't fix it. www.threads.net/@nytimes/pos...

Now that I've been here for approximately 3 minutes I insist that we call this place the bisky app.
It's the URL of the website, bsky which might be pronounced bisk-e, and .app which means appetizer, such as a nice bisque-y bisque.
