Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 10/09/2025I finally took the time to figure out how to get the OSGB coordinate system into Revit... I feel I should have done this a while ago, but it's satisfying all the same. 130
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 10/04/2025Not the most complex of Dynamo graphs, but effective and terrifying in possibly equal measure... I might not put this in the main library just yet... 140
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 05/03/2025@autodeskrevit.bsky.social Has something changed in the custom installers so that they don't accept a forward slash for the file path, despite this being the default setting? 010
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 06/02/2025This was the message we got at the start of the week from our reseller/support. 120
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 04/01/2025It’s the Duxford National Air Museum near Cambridge. This the the Foster designed hangar which houses all the U.S. planes. It’s dominated by a B52 Stratofortress… 020

Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 04/12/20242/2 Using 2 '+' nodes also simulates a 3 input node. For this ensure both plus nodes have the same lacing and then set your inputs with the intended level settings. For the second '+' node the X input should be left in its default state. 020
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 04/12/20241/2 If you struggle with lacing and levels in Dynamo this might help you visualize what is happening. You can use a '+' node to see how the data is combined with the different settings by converting your lists to strings. 270
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 28/11/2024this is what it looks like expanded... it's not a pretty sight... 😬 120
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 28/11/2024Hey #Revit folk... has anyone come across this before? I can't see how a CAD file would end up as a purgeable family item... It is causing carnage, and while it's easily sorted, I'd love to know how it has ended up like this in the first place... 120
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 21/11/2024Can anyone shed any light on why some #Revit models keep regenerating graphics for floor plans when I'm exporting an IFC and others don't? 210
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 24/10/2023Similarly for materials we need to denote either m3 or m2 so we can use a similar approach. However, because we are pushing these to a 'number' you need to divide the values by 1 to get around the inconsistent units error. 000
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 24/10/2023For our OneClick export we need to combine area values or count in a single column. By introducing a yes/no parameter you can use a formula in the schedule to achieve this by either returning the Area value or 1 and setting that new parameter to calculate totals. 100
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 23/10/2023Steady progress. Proof of concept with the export of a Revit schedule and importing directly to OneClick with all materials correctly mapped. The only issue the comments aren't coming across where I need them but I think this is a glitch in their platform/import process. 020
Keith Wilkinson @keithwilkinson.bsky.social · 19/10/2023Some of the data we're now recording in Revit to assist with embodied carbon calcs. This relates specifically to material data within system families (walls, floors, ceilings etc). A further set of columns deals with secondary material data (e.g. partial fill insulation). 110
