For being in Thailand, I don't really have much The King and I content to share but I did visit Jim Thompson House, the American who exported Thai silk to the world. His business supplied silk for the original Broadway production of the musical.

The show is just Lower Decks now and that sucks.

Parody of Spock's death in the Wrath of Khan with puppet Pike and Ethan Peck, the light draining from the actor's eyes. This is the kind of humour that suits a parody movie. It's cheap. Oooh a reference! See, it's a reference. These writers have seen the thing I've also seen. Star Trek has always had humour in it. Lighten up. No, fuck off.

Didn't realise so many people love Glen Hansard so much. Anyway, he met Markéta Irglová when she was 13 years old, mentored her as a child, recorded an album with her when she was 17 and they started dating as soon as she turned 18. He was 37.

In 2007, during the promotional tour for Once, they began dating. Hansard said of the relationship: "I had been falling in love with her for a long time, but I kept telling myself she's just a kid." The relationship ended after about two years. In 2008, he took a four-week filmmaking workshop at the New York Film Academy.
