Spurs fans will have to face up to the reality that they have massively overpaid for some of their transfers. £185m for 2 midfielders playing for teams finishing 14th and relegated last season. £50m on Van Hecke when Konsa went for the same amount. It’s a shit show!!

Szoboszlai is Liverpools penalty taker now Salah has gone (and probably should have been when Salah was there). He is an exceptional striker of the pall with a 94% penalty conversion rate. Isak was never taking that penalty and won’t in games not against Newcastle unless Szoboszlai isn’t playing.

With the money spent and the players they brought in, I really can’t believe how bad Spurs are. In particular, being totally over run in midfield. It must be a bit alarming when your £100m centre midfielder is showing so little.

I was really surprised with police saying it wasn’t politically motivated at the outset, and then arrested a person from Rotherham. At that point, it was pretty obvious that this must have been a targeted attack. Trying to suggest otherwise was just setting up the conspiracy theorists.

I totally agree with Ed Davey. The government should refuse to accept Farage’s resignation until after the Standards Committee has reported on the investigations. Then the voters can go into the the election with all the information. Would also like to see a Martin Bell style unity candidate.

For the sake of accuracy, the World Cup was awarded in 2018. I’m not sure anybody expected Trump to be president now. Not that I think it would have made any difference, but these are decisions made 8 years before the event.
