I have a couple goals in mind: Aim for my driver's license before the permit expires in June, then take a week long vacation to a beach hotel. Just me 😁. And if I do get my license, I might skip that and actually take a plane trip by myself somewhere. I've already been planning a few ideas.

I decided to write a one page letter of what I was feeling. I put the date on it and a title of motivation on the last folded part. It helped a bit, but I must think positive thoughts and manifest positivity. Think of my future of what awesome possibilities there can be.

Part of me just wants to go ahead and do it, go rent a place, be independent, and see what happens. To not let fear drive me and take control. I want relief. I want purpose. Because in the end, I want intimacy and love with someone, and damn it if I'm going to continue this any longer.

Writing it out feels good. I feel drained, defeated, behind, and sorry. It's hard for me to accept that the changes I'm making now are mine alone, and not influenced by you. Even though I could have made those choices anyway then.

As I lay on my bed with overflowing feelings, I still can't shake the fact on what I went through and how I went about it. It's so hard to forgive myself for not knowing, for being scared, and for trying my best. In a way, I thought I was protecting myself when actually I was hurting both of us.

I dream of someone that I can love, cherish, cuddle, cook, wrestle, and so many other things. I dream of the day of not having to make the choice of loving either my family or my partner. I am allowed to love both of them. I shouldn't be given a choice to abandon one or the other.
