Going back to this book and seeing that *THAT'S* how the story ends really hit me. Some sadness. Some remorse. But also gratitude. Gratitude that I kept walking. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. Mystery/Thriller. Easily the best book I've ever read. Do yourself a favor and get it.

I didn't remember this final excerpt, but seeing again and thinking about where I was when I first read it, it's eerie how reflective of how I've chosen to live since that time. I wont reiterate previous musings, but I made a video this year about walking. What it means to me symbolically.

5 years ago I bought a book. During what was the most difficult, dangerous time in my life. I hadn't read anything strictly for fun since high school, and the story ended up being my absolute favorite. I foolishly gave the book away. Today I rebought it and read the final 20 or so pages again.
