Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control is always overrun with dogs. There are people whose full time job is to just transport dogs all over the country from that shelter. Pick a dog and I can put you in touch with those transporters. It's not free but that's how we got Chipper and McCloud

It's announced but not released yet and I am STILL saving every penny earned doing photography stuff in hopes that this drops this fiscal year. If it doesn't come out by the new year I'm gonna have to go on a gear spending spree (or take a 40% tax hit on that self-employment income 😬).

I've shot more dog sports with a 24-70mm lens in the last two weekends than I have ever before. The NikkorZ 24-70mm f/2.8 S II is a beast. It's WAAAY better than the first version of this lens. I LOVE that it can keep up with super-fast action at close range.

I have a camera/lens rental coming today, being held at the UPS store. The store closes at 6:30pm and the delivery still says it'll be there by 9pm. I need it for tomorrow. I may have to camp out behind the UPS store after close this evening waiting for the truck if it doesn't show up sooner. XD
