Just FYI, it's basically done now. I have the internal skeleton I mentioned done along with the armor itself on my printables page (in bio). The only things left are tweaking some tolerances (doable on your own) and assembly instructions.

Here's some pictures of it printed with a large layer height and no post-processing (like sanding). This is basically the worst it'll look given a successful 3d print, and I think it still looks okay-ish.

The dash you get by charging up the ride armor's claw attack thing goes faster/farther than the one you get by pressing the dash button, you can actually make the jump by doing that IIRC.

Ah, the feeling of not immediately being good at things can hurt a lot, especially if you were hyped up as a child and put in a "gifted" program or something along those lines. I know a friend of mine felt like a failure cause his skill at perception was outrunning his ability (see attached).

Yes, it uses parts from that. I was thinking about making a reverse engineered skeleton I have for the reused parts available, but I'd have to mess with the tolerances on those before they were usable.
