Good morning 😊

The sun is rising over a field of blueberry plants. On the left, a walking path lined by trees runs to the horizon. The blueberry field is cut at an angle on the right by the edge of the field, creating a triangular shape.

I wish all days could be like this- blue skies, sunshine, reading on a beach…. So glad I live close to the water!!

Picture of a blurred book over a rocky beach in the foreground, with the calm ocean inlet and then in the distance some islands and a few fluffy cloud. The Rocky’s are all rounded by the water, so the beach is comfortable to sit on. Not pictured is the log I was leaning against.

For those wondering, outside of the US we still see the Gulf of Mexico, with Gulf of America in brackets… maybe so Americans using Google outside of the country don’t get lost 😜

Screenshot of the Gulf of Mexico on Google map, taken in Canada while in dark mode. The land is green & the water is black. The screenshot is focused on the USA & Central America, and labelled “Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)” with gulf of America in brackets.

You’ve probably seen the protest marches in Germany. Never again is now. 🇨🇦, we need to vote wisely. There may not be a “great” option, but there are worse options. Speak up for those who are being silenced, and speak out against hate. Never again is now.

This picture is of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and shows some of the thousands of large rectangular cement blocks that make up the memorial. The blocks are spaced so that they can be walked through. Off in the background there is a row of buildings mostly the same colour as the blocks, but one is yellow and one is white. A tree adorned with the yellow leaves of fall is in the distant right.

A pedestrian bridge over water that is calm on one side & reflecting the sun on the other. In the front of the picture there are yellow leaves and the sun is shining in a cloudless sky. There is a person on the bridge with their arms spread wide with joy, partially hidden by the yellow leaves.
