Happy that I got my California Election book. 175 pages covering everything that will be on my ballot. Do other states educate their voters or do they require people vote in person on one day only?

For this election, official drop box or drop off at a polling center. Unfortunately, we can’t risk USPS timely delivery. And sign up for ballot tracking so you can monitor USPS handling.

Build a train across the Golden Gate Bridge

If California is as serious about public transit as its leaders claim, why isn’t there rail service across the Golden Gate Bridge?

I figure if I don’t like a show or movie, it’s not for me, perhaps for another, so I say nothing. Making an exception. The 2026 Chinese film “Per Aspera Ad Astra” is annoyingly bad. Thought it was SciFi but after a handful of vignettes surrounded by SciFi …

Few Northern Californians have A/C. For 360 days a year it is hot during the day, and 30-40°F cooler at night. Sleep with windows open to cool the house, lock in the cold during the day. Today is one of the five days where it did not get cold at night. ⬇️
