That being said, I referenced Buttigieg and Booker in this thread. They're doing what you just mentioned. Leading me back to my original point

"What's the point" is the question? I mean.. I vote in a heavily republican state so at least I can join the 25% of the voting populous to communicate that we are still a part of the constituency. Voting in a minority party candidate means compromise at best. Civics understanding is important.
