In light of recent social media campaigns against @megaplexcon.org, we'd like to reshare our director's thoughts from back in April when we were the subject of similar discourse. Sending you our support from across the pond <3

Im really excited to also say we have a halloween event coming this year. Florida Furs missed furloween and we would have loved to see it come back but after we talked with the original creator it seemed unlikely to return so we set out to make something new for the locals. More info coming soon.

Some people like to try to cheapen what we have done. Theres 250 staff that put in a lot of really hard work at con and a handfull who do it year round. Its all about giving our community a place to be themselves while raising money for a good cause.

The last few weeks have been hard. Between con stuff and personal bullshit its been pretty stressfull. But last weekend we did something amazing. We took Megaplex to 10,000+ attendees. Most of the issues none of the attendees saw. We have some things to work to improve but theres a plan for that.

I love the Lego flowers, I usually make one and glue it together for my mom every year. She has half a dozen now and keeps them in her remote offices cause no one is there regularly enough to water real plants ❤️

With the larger tires you are forced to run it in “manual” mode which fine by me half my vehicles are actual manual transmissions, but it definitely requires driver attention and engagement. It will get pushed up to 3ft sideways by the air of a passing semi etc. you get used to it quickly but yea

Kedzie @ Megaplex(Still there 😎) @kedzie.littlewah.com · 16/05/2025

Stability at 70mph + is extremely questionable, the gearing and power stock on 33” tires requires extremely well timed lane changes and merges with anything but friendly other drivers. The short wheelbase is definitely not great at speed in the rain… It’s a city car, I’m in rural FL xD

Overall it’s a great reliable lil car around town but I wouldn’t recommend it as your only car, there’s over a dozen vehicles here at any given time… Tyke’s longest trip was 1.5hrs each way involving the highway at night and it was among the most difficult 1.5hrs of the 40+ vehicles I’ve owned lol

Yep, there’s a couple places that do them online in smoothed abs 3d prints which is where BRAAP got them. I was about to make my own and they called to let me know they had found some on Etsy

2009 Smart ForTwo (2007-2012 all work iirc) with a BRAAP 6” lift and a good bit of bodywork, wheels, paint etc. if you build it yourself you can do it for about $15-18k ish with a good donor car included. I had BRAAP build it in house and there’s well over double that and a years wait into it😭😭😭

🥺 I wanted to go sooooo bad 😭 But with everything else already booked on both sides, I realistically can’t do so no matter what. Also learned my housemate would wanna come now (contrary to his prior decision) so I extra can’t since that would leave my doggo at the pet resort for 26 days 😨

It certainly has no issues going anywhere it doesn’t get stuck. Dirt trails and mild stuff is totally fine but it certainly can’t handle much mud or the like. The beach and sand in general is totally fine but mud and rocks are a struggle for the automated manual & RWD. Crazy fun regardless tho 😁
