Given recent events in the Catholic Church, I feel compelled to remind folks that the, "Pope of Nope," picture you may see is a creation of @theoatmeal.bsky.social from the card game Exploding Kittens. Of note, I occasionally mention "The Oatmeal salute," which the Pope of Nope demonstrates below.

Oh are we doing this again? I have multiple answers, but let's go with the oldest, which I posted last time this came about. Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgard, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains:

1990's self-titled, and only, album released by Toy Matinee: a supergroup centered around wunderkind (and died-too-soon) Kevin Gilbert and super-producer/writer/musician Patrick Leonard.

What I'd have given for even a second album from this one's lineup... Gilbert's solo song, "Goodness Gracious" always makes me think it would've been an excellent title-track for a second Toy Matinee album.

The main battle vessel of The Shadows from Babylon 5. It's all black against a nebula background (for clarity).It looks like a spider or a crab, and fans of B5 often call them "Battlecrabs." It's creepy as hell, not unlike a cybertruck (the meme's starting point). If you don't know its story, read ahead for spoilers.

It's an organic ship, and it requires a sentient being inside it to drive it. A human needs to be "modified" to drive it well or else they go insane. The mods, BTW, are equally and lovecraftianly horrid so it's like ointment vs. suppositories. NGL, I can see the Thiels of this world lusting after them. In B5, the humans who aligned with the Shadows already do.

Yeah... I *do* wonder a lot about accounts putting up can't-criticize posts. I got this one to be silent, and I think it's because their cover story (Cubs fan) doesn't hold up when I obliquely mentioned Pritzker:

Picture one of two: DNC chair Ken Martin talking about what happened to Senator Padilla. I replied that, well, the Democrats in office should be fighting more tooth-and-nail instead of passing (okay, I should've said "helped pass") legal money laundering bills.

Self-described "Cubs fan and Bud man" telling me I suck for still being angry. I then explained in detail what I meant, including an oblique mention of Gov. Pritzker: "Padilla's a goddamned hero. I'm unhappy unti MAGA is dealt with. I'm not saying give up, I'm saying DO MOR (esp. to establishment Ds). If you're a Cubs fan in IL, your governor is what I'm expecting out of EVERY D now.".

Can you move enough men, machines, and munitions from point A to point B within a timeframe that aligns with operational demands?
