Death 1 Blackness encompasses you. Time stills. Weightless, painless... What's happened? SLAM! You jerk. Yes, jerk, landing hard on your feet, but how? Aren't you dead? Blinding light. You cower, shielding your eyes with your hand. A few seconds pass and the surroundings come into focus. What the h@!!? The Red door and Blue doors stand before you. Again…

CYOA The red door swings open. What's this? Grandmother's quilt, a favorite stuffed animal, the curtains you've loved since childhood... You eagerly walk into your childhood bedroom. The door shuts behind you, but you barely notice. Everything is as you remembered. Opening drawers, the contents remind you of fun times you've had, and even the window shows the view you know all too well.

A circle or a triangle. But which one leads to life? You think about all that you’ve learned about symbols and chide yourself on not paying more attention in social studies/history classes. For starters, circles are for the beginning and the end. There is no hierarchy when seated in a circle. Isn’t that what the round table was about in King Arthur’s legend?

Choose Your Own Adventure Choice 3: Right? Left? It all looks the same. Thick hedges in all directions with no tops in sight. A nagging instinct tells you to go straight. With trepidation, you step forward. The sun bears down. Soon, you’re hot, sticky, and craving a drop of water. A giggle to your right stops you in your tracks.
